WEDDING CEREMONY SITES
The Laguna Cliffs Resort & Spa offers three (3) incredible outdoor
view locations accommodating weddings from 50 to 600 Guests. These sites are
available in conjunction with your Lunch/Dinner reception. Consult your wedding
Sales Representative for details. The resort requires the client to provide a
wedding planner for ceremonies on the property
FOOD AND BEVERAGE
Consult Wedding Department to determine appropriate food and beverage minimum
for each location. No food or beverage of any kind may be brought into the banquet
or rooms by the patron or any of the patron's guest or attendees with the exception
of wedding cakes or with prior authorization.
DEPOSITS
The Laguna Cliffs Resort & Spa will not confirm or hold space without a deposit.
A deposit of 25% is required to guarantee the location and date. The 25% deposit is the
total of the food and beverage minimum with service charge and state sales tax and ceremony
fee, if applicable. All deposits including the initial deposit are non-refundable and
non-transferable.
CANCELLATION
In the event of cancellation for any reason, all deposit any payments are non-refundable
/non-transferable. Cancellation fee may also apply.
FINAL PAYMENT
The total estimated cost of the events is required ten (10) days prior to the event.
Payment may be made with a credit card or cashier's check only. Any balance due upon
conclusion of the event is payable with credit card or cash.
GUARANTEE
It is the responsibility of the client to provide a guaranteed number of guests ten (10) days prior
to the event. This number may be increased by 12:00 noon, three (3) business days prior
to the event, but is not subject to reduction. Final charges will be based on actual
attendances or the final guarantee submitted, whichever number is greater.
DECORATIONS
Notification is required for special decorations, set-up needs and activities at the time
of booking. No rice or birdseed is permitted indoors or outdoors. All centerpieces are to
conform with local fire code requirements.
SEATING
Banquet seating will be oversized round tables ("72") of ten to twelve people, unless specified. Additional labor fee will apply for set-ups of fewer people. The hotel will provide seating diagrams
and numbered tables upon request. Clients are responsible for place cards, if applicable.
LINEN
The hotel offers a choice of napkins and table linens in white and ivory. Additional colors
may be rented at client's expense.
MUSIC
During your reception, disc jockeys or live music is permitted until 12:00AM. Any outdoor
receptions may provide music until 10:00PM. Electrical outlets are located throughout outdoor sites.
In consideration of all guests, all music will be controlled at the discretion of the hotel.
Charges may apply for unusual electrical needs.
SERVICE CHARGE AND TAX
All costs are subject to a 22% taxable service charge and applicable sales tax. The obligatory
service charge is not a gratuity and will be distributed at the discretion of management. Service
charge is subject to CA State Board of Equalization Regulation NO. 1603.
ROOM RENTALS/ MINIMUMS
Room rental fees will be waived when a minimum food and beverage is met. Minimum food and beverage
purchases apply to all banquet rooms and outdoor reception sites. Food and beverage minimums do not
include the 22% service charge and applicable state tax.
LOSS PREVENTION
The Laguna Cliffs Resort & Spa does not assume any responsibility for damage or loss of any
merchandise or articles brought into the hotel or for any item that is left unattended.
PRICING
All food and beverage prices will be confirmed 90 days in advance of the event. All tents or canopies
will be ordered through the resort wedding department. Special permits are required with approved floor
plan from the fire department. Service charge of 22% & state sales tax will be added to all rental items.
PARKING
Guest parking is available on premises for a charge of either valet or self parking basis.
GUEST ROOM AND RATES
Special rates will be offered to your guests on availability when a minimum of 10 rooms are reserved on
a single night.
LIABILITY
The Laguna Cliffs Resort & Spa reserves the right to inspect and control private functions.
Liability for damage on the premises will be charged accordingly. The resort is not responsible for
activities held off property such as events at county and state parks, harbor, etc.
