To help preserve our surroundings for future generations, we have launched a series of new green initiatives, designed to transform our property into a leading California eco resort. - Laguna Cliffs Marriott Resort & Spa is a Smoke Free Resort, which improves indoor air quality and results in a 30% decrease in air treatment systems
- We recycle all glass, plastic and paper according to local guidelines
- All in-house reports – including dailies to all departments – are emailed rather than sent out as hard copies
- Energy efficient light bulbs are installed through the resort
- Water flow restricting devices have been installed in all guestrooms
- Established use of Bic ECO Solution pens throughout the resort including all meeting rooms
- We currently use writing tablets made of recycled paper in our meeting rooms
- Sheets and towels are changed every three days for long-term guests unless otherwise requested
- Upon request, we can provide “Green Rooms”, which feature featherless pillows, and linens and towels that have been washed with detergent and then re-washed with hot water to remove any remaining detergent. New vacuum bags will be used each time the room is cleaned.
- All cleaning chemicals are eco-friendly products
- The onsite Hertz rental desk offers hybrid vehicles
- The splash zone at the Del Mar Pool uses recycled chlorinated water
